This Sunday, High End Market Place will kick off its first “Sunday Sessions” event, featuring local artists and live music.

HIGH END SUNDAY SESSIONS POSTER

The pot shop, Vancouver’s third, will feature Clark County Poet Laureate Christopher Luna and music from River Twain, a soulful amalgamation of roots, blues, folk and Americana.

Sunday Sessions will be at the store at 1906 Broadway in Vancouver starting at 1 p.m. and will repeat on the last Sunday of each month.

Owners of other stores in our region have also told me they plan to launch lectures and a variety of events for the summer very soon. When I get more information, I’ll add them all to our shiny new calendar section here: https://cannabis-chronicles.com/calendar/

Are you planning on going to the first Sunday Sessions event? Let us know what you think on our Facebook Page or Twitter!

HEMP’s press release on the event and the store’s poster are below.

Vancouver, WA: High End Market Place, Vancouver’s third recreational marijuana store located in the Uptown Village of downtown Vancouver will host it’s first ever cannabis culture event called Sunday Sessions. Happening every last Sunday of the month, High End Market Place will feature local artists from around Clark County in live performances ranging from music, painting, and poetry to glass blowing, screen printing, and even a mobile masseuse station. “Marijuana influences artists and creators of all mediums, and we hope that this monthly live event highlights this natural convergence” explains co-owner Morgan Hutchinson, “we want people to come together to enjoy great art from our emerging arts scene here in Vancouver, and to continue to have discussions about cannabis and its cultural significance.”
