CannaGrow Expo Coming To Portland This August

It seems like now that weed is inching closer to being legal in Portland, cannabis conferences and expos are popping up all over. With DispensaryNext just ending, and the Cannabis Creative Conference coming this July, the CannaGrow Expo will be coming to Portland this August 28-29. The CannaGrow Expo is a two day educational conference dedicated to the art & science of growing cannabis. CannaGrow Portland is open to anyone 18+ (no smoking is allowed at the venue) and is geared towards cannabis growers looking to learn about new technologies and techniques, dispensary owners wanting to know more about the questions and practices they should be aware of, or anyone looking to explore the latest cannabis cultivation technology, tools, and methods. The expo will feature 18 grow-focused educational sessions that are being lead by world class growers including booths full of the latest tools & technologies for growing.

The speakers listed for CannaGrow are: Kyle Kushman an international renowned cannabis cultivator, Adam Jacques from Oregon Micro Growers Guild (Adam, also spoke at DispensaryNext: Day One and I found his session was very informing), Jay Kitchen, Jennifer Martin a cup winning cannabis cultivator, Paul Stanford from THCF (I used them to get my medical card, love them so much!) Dean Rodgers from Cascade Botanical, Jeremy Sackett from Cascadia Labs, Zacariah Hildenbrand of C4 Labs, Autumn Karcey President of Cultivo, Inc., and Celeste Miranda of The Cannabis Marketing Lab (Celeste was also at DispensaryNext: Day Two, she was also a great speaker and taught about the importance of marketing in this digital age). Some of the exhibitors and sponsors of the CannaGrow Expo are: Boveda, American Green, Cascadia Labs, Lush Lighting, and Vegamatrix.

The CannaGrow Expo is being hosted by the same people who hosted DispensaryNext in June, CannaConnections.Events. As i’ve mention a few times in this post, I was able to attend the DispensaryNext conference and I had a great time! It was my first networking event and I felt like I was provided with a lot of great information and access to a lot of great people within the industry. If you’re looking to meet others in the industry, or curious and want to research it in case you’re wanting to find a job in the cannabis industry, these types of events are useful to check out. Did I mention the food was awesome last time too? I have no doubt in my mind that CannaConnections will hit it out of the park again.
