GUUUUUUYS! After a week of being back from LA, I think I’m ready to get back into the swing of things….sorta…..forever lazy!

By now you should all be familiar with Charlo Greene (SHE HAS A WIKIPEDIA PAGE!). For those of you who don’t live on the internet like me, Charlo Greene is a former news anchor, who quit her job in the dopest way possible (pun intended). While doing a news spot on the Alaska Cannabis Club, Charlo outed herself as the owner of the club and quit her job on-air to dedicate more time to her business and advocating for cannabis legalization.

When she quit, Charlo said:

FUCK IT, I QUIT!

I actually admire the way she quit her job…for one it took a lot of balls, and if I’m being honest, I’ve fantasized about quitting in a similar fashion. Haven’t we all? Since quitting her job, Charlo has been EVERYWHERE, and this Saturday she’ll be in Portland for a super secret event (not much of a secret now, but still exclusive)! #SecretSessionPDX is an event to commemorte the adult-use of cannabis here in Oregon and we’re celebrating with an evening of music, food, drinks, and a special stash for each attendee. The event will bring together a diverse group filled with cannabusiness owners, community leaders, and consumers/advocates of cannabis. Charlo Greene will be pulling double duty as the event speaker and guest of honor, while we’re treated to entertainment provided by Ngaio Bealum, comedian and activist.

When: Saturday October 3rd

6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
