Shop ordered to stop selling marijuana

Hazel Dell — Sticky’s Pot Shop has been served.

Clark County code enforcement on Monday served the marijuana store at 9411 N.E. Highway 99 with an order to stop selling marijuana products within 10 days. If it fails to do so, the store faces $250 in fines each day it continues.

John Larson’s shop made headlines last week when it opened its doors in unincorporated Clark County despite a moratorium on marijuana retailers. The store is legally licensed through the state and obtained a certificate of occupancy in Clark County under the name Emerald Enterprises, listing itself as a gift shop.

Larson did not return a request for comment Monday.
