Dr. Dabber Aura Vape Pen Kit Review From Cannabis Daily Record

Hey all! As some of you may know, I contribute to another cannabis blog called Cannabis Daily Record. As I contribute more to CDR, I would like to share some of those posts here on my site, it won’t be every post, just ones I think fit here on MNG.

Below is my review for the Dr. Dabber Aura Vape Pen Kit and hope you enjoy. (you can find some of my posts here)

THIS POST FIRST APPEARED ON CANNABIS DAILY RECORD.

Vape pens seem to be everywhere these days, and by the looks of it – that trend will only continue to grow in the future.

Why? Vaping is healthier than smoking, and it’s actually the preferred method of consuming cannabis by many.

So how do you know what device is right for you? A lot of it is trial and error, but here at CDR we hope we can help you navigate the diverse vaping landscape by reviewing some of the products out there on the market and reporting our findings.
So, with all that being said, let’s get into my review of the Aura Vape Pen Kit, made by the fine folks at Dr. Dabber!

The Dr. Dabber Aura Vape Pen is newer and unlike any other pen I’ve seen or used in the past.

You won’t see the difference because it does look like other pens on the market, but once you start using it you’ll notice what separates this pen from the competition.

The Aura Vape Pen Kit includes: the pen, three atomizers: dual quartz, dual ceramic and a ceramic halo all in quartz dishes,  silicone shatter proof container,  loading tool w/ keychain so you don’t misplace it, and a USB charger.

The Aura Vape Pen is black with a smooth, satin finish that feels soft to the touch. It’s really an elegant pen that looks and feels great.

The Aura comes with Snaptech Magnetics, each piece snaps together quickly and easily without screwing them on, meaning you won’t have to bumble around with your pen, something that happens with normal threading.

My favorite thing about the Aura is it’s variable voltage function.

Not all concentrates are the same, so why are we burning them like they are? With the variable voltage function, we get three heat settings, which comes in handy because the pen also comes with three different atomizers that you can match to the different types of concentrates to enhance flavor for different consistencies.

Top that off with a contoured ceramic mouthpiece that was designed to have an ergonomic feel, this mouthpiece is more comfortable than the Stok R Vape Pen, which I previously owned.

SAMSUNG CSCTurning your pen on and off is similar to other pens, you click the button five times to turn it on, and another five times to turn it off. The lights on the pen will quickly blink, letting you know when it’s on or off.

To cycle through the 3 different heat settings you just click the button on your pen three times for each level: Green = Low Heat, Blue = Medium, and Pink = High.

I’ve been using the pen on the low and medium heat settings and have been satisfied with how they burn my concentrates.

There are also three atomizers to choose from, and each works differently.

The Dual Quartz Rod is best for concentrates that aren’t thick or sticky. The Dual Ceramic Rod work best with concentrates that have a thicker consistency. And the Ceramic Halo atomizer works best for waxier concentrates like crumble.

All three give you the chance to widen your range and experience.

Loading your pen is easy, too. You just take your loading tool and place your product on the heating element, making sure to avoid contact between the heating element and loading tool.

I like to place my product just to the side of the heating element, so it doesn’t get too sticky. Doing that should help extend the life of the atomizer.

And charging is a breeze, just plug it in and give it some time. The battery life of the Aura lasts a while too, I think I used it for over a week before needing to charge it.

It’s funny – before I received this pen, I had just sworn off other products like it.

I’ve used two other vape pens similar to this in the past and I was always unhappy with the heating temperature, because I’d find myself coughing and was never able to taste what I was trying to vape.

Instead I decided to strictly use prefilled vape cartridges because less mess, less fuss, and no cleaning pieces, SO SIMPLE!

But now? I am so in love with the Dr. Dabber Aura Vape Pen because you get so many options!

You can choose the temperature that works best for you and whatever type of concentrate you’re using, and you get to choose the atomizer that fits each best.

It’s so awesome, and I have yet to see any other  pens on the market that give you this many unique options to choose from.

One minor complaint – the snaptech magnetic technology on the Aura Vape Pen is a fun new feature, but since there’s no threading the pieces move around a lot – it may or may not annoy you when you can’t find the button. Also its sleek look is really beautiful, but I’d recommend getting a case for the pen because if you leave it in a bag and it rubs against things it will chip away at the finish and nobody wants a ratty looking pen.

Vape pens have become a regular feature in my daily puffing rotation, I usually use them during the day and while I’m on the go because it’s easier than loading a bowl and won’t leave the pungent aroma when you smoke some dank. I’m happy to add the Dr. Dabber Aura Vape Pen into this rotation.
You can get replacement pieces for your Aura Vape Pen through Dr. Dabber, or pick up your very own for $99.95.
