Numbers from Vancouver pot shops
The Liquor Control Board told me how to drill down into some of the pot sales data they provide, which netted some interesting information.
I found sales and excise tax numbers for Main Street Marijuana and New Vansterdam. The LCB site only tallies monthly numbers for the stores, but I thought folks might be interested in seeing how the two stores are doing.
As for the totals? So far, Main Street Marijuana has reported sales of $1,095,496 and excise tax of $273,874; New Vansterdam has reported sales of $1,674,733 and excise tax of $418,683.
Across all I-502 stores, sales were $13,924,096 and excise tax was $3,481,024 through Oct. 6.
And a note – these numbers are for stores only, not retailers or processors.
