Cannabis Country Store launches sample club
The Cannabis Country Store in Battle Ground has an interesting new plan for customers that want to learn more about the variety of strains out there.
On Wednesday, it will launch the “Cannabis Country Club” – a monthly membership card that basically lets you sample a different strain each week for four weeks for $10 a pop.
The store will issue 50 cards for the first run of the program, which begins Feb. 4. The card and the first 1 gram bag cost $22.
After the first week, customers can come back once a week for a $6 1 gram bag – bringing the total at the end of four weeks to $40.
The goal of the program is to get some input from customers about which strains they’d recommend or prefer, said Loren Carlson, the store’s owner.
“We’re going to let people make some decisions for us on what to carry, what we’re not going to carry,” Carlson said.
Every customer in the program will get a review card where they can make comments on each strain. After the store gets the input, it will combine them into its own review – which we will publish here on Cannabis Chronicles! (And no, you don’t have to use your name in the review if you don’t want to).
For the first month, the strains will be from Agrijuana and Cedar Creek Cannabis – both of whom are local Clark County growers.
The first four strains will be:
Agrijuana: OG-99
Cedar Creek Cannabis: Jack Herer
Agrijuana: G-13
Cedar Creek Cannabis: King Tut
Hopefully the program will be a success.
I’m looking forward to getting the reviews from this out to everybody! Getting reviewers for product at local stores has been a bit of a challenge, because of the stigma that still surrounds the industry.
Part of the goal of the program is to get some new information out to help other customers decide what they’d like to try.
Cheers!
