I hope some of you are familiar with the website, Hempista. If you aren’t, it’s an online hemp/cannabis publication that focuses on the beauty, fashion, wellness, home and lifestyle. Launched in 2010, Hempista is one of the first cannabis lifestyle publication to partner with mainstream brands for reviews, press, and advertising. So, you could say that Hempista helped pave the way for many other cannabis bloggers like myself who like to share products with others. Since starting, Hempista, it’s creator, Sandra Hinchcliffe has no doubt been busy…so busy she has her own book of recipes coming out this October titled, ” The Cannabis Spa At Home”, the first book to bring together spa, cannabis, and herbal healing. Since news of her upcoming book broke out, Sandra has been the goto person for many seeking out information on locating cannabis spa services, products, or other cannabis spa related questions. She knew what she had to do, and created an app called, SpaKind.

With SpaKind, it’s users will have their own cannabis spa guide at their fingertips helping them find: cannabis infused products, retail boutiques, cannabis spa dispensaries, recipes, product reviews, ganja yoga classes, or massage therapists. The app will be free to download and use, but their will be a premium module within the app for purchase that will give access to a lot more content.

Does this sound something any of you would use?? Since using topicals more to treat pain/strained muscles, and learning about the creative ways people are using cannabis, or enhancing activities with cannabis, this would be something I would definitely use. Please check out the Kickstarter campaign Sandra has started to help get SpaKind out there! So far SpaKind has $357 of the $2500 it’s seeking and has 13 days to go!
