Strain Review: Pineapple Express From NW Alchemy
Pineapple Express gives off effects that plaster a smile on your face while you sit their in a euphoric daze. Pineapple Express is also used to battle stress and depression, and I feel like after consuming, it is true to it’s description.
Here’s Leafly’s description of Pineapple Express:
Pineapple Express was bred by G13 labs and is the child of Trainwreck and Hawaiian. The smell has been likened to fresh apple and mango, with a taste of pineapple, pine and cedar. This hard-hitting sativa provides an energetic high up to 2 hours and has a THC content up to 17% with CBD of 0.17%. Pineapple Express is a marijuana strain with light green buds that are dense with thick resin.
Pineapple Express had a greenish-yellow tint, with full leaves covered in tasty sugar crystals. With it’s super-sweet taste and the tropical scent of pineapple, this is another strain that’s perfect for Summer. I smoked a fat nug of Pineapple Express before watching the movie Interstellar and I sat there in a spacy daze as I tried to keep up with all the science and space shit. I’m 100% positive stoned AF is the way Interstellar should be seen, but keep in mind things will make complete sense and then confuse you moments later. The euphoria I felt made me feel like I was really floating in space, (see pic to the left). I was so glad I finally got to try Pineapple Express, it’s definitely a favorite of mine right now, but I tend to love sativa-dominant hybrids with dreamy effects.
I picked up this specific strain of PEX from NW Alchemy, if you’re in the Seattle area, hit them up and pick some up. If you’re not in the area, hit up Leafly to see if a shop near you is carrying Pineapple Express, you won’t be sorry.
