Welcome to Cannabis Chronicles
Recreational use of marijuana has been legal in Washington for more than a year now, although there’s still no legal place to buy it – yet.
The state Liquor Control Board has started approving the first producers and processors licenses and things are moving forward, slowly but steadily.
Retail locations could open up as early as late spring or summer. And while Clark County has a moratorium on the six stores it’s been allocated, the city of Vancouver is moving forward with the process on its own six stores.
How will things work out? Nobody knows yet.
The goal of this blog is to keep you informed, share news and tidbits, and also some of the humor in this very convoluted landscape.
