What’s up my lovely tokers! I wanted to share an upcoming event with you that’s taking place at the end of April.
Portland’s own Willamette Week and Farma, with Cascadia Labs present, Cultivation Classic. This event and competition will feature speakers and panelists, vendors, interactive exhibits, food carts, and more. The main focus of this event is to celebrate and discuss regenerative agriculture, which includes organic growing methods. Cultivation Classic will also be handing out awards from growers who have submitted their soil-grown 2015-2016 harvest entries for 6 of the soil-grown categories.
Cultivation Classic is Oregon’s only cannabis competiton for soil-grown flower free of synthetic pesticdes, herbicides, or mineral salt fertilizer. This will be a flower only competition. All flower must be soil-grown by Oregon Producers, no out of state producers/entries. Flower entries must use organic growing methods, submissions should contain NO mineral salt fertilizer, or synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides. Absolutely NO edibles or concentrates will be entered or judged. (via)
